how hard is it to put a 350 in a fiero? like do you mind telling me? ive been looking for a cool project and i have an old 350 and a set of double hump heads that i wanted to use in something cool.
fag
@Infiernofox138 Everybody gets this wrong. The transmission will not break, unless it’s high mileage. What breaks in these V8 Fieros now is the clutch. Not the transmission. That’s what takes the hit. You will go through some clutches. Get the best aftermarket clutch for your transmission you can and you can keep it. And that’s no joke. I have a V8 Fiero since the late 1990′s till present. If you put in a stock clutch with a 4 spring disc it will last a few weeks tops.
@V8Fiero2M8 u are a fag
shoot ls1 stroked to 408 would rape anything. little spray bigger tires any idea how it would do?
i have had mine to 125 its an 87 4 cyl 5 speed, it shook a hell of alot and i was using a Tom Tom 130 Gps to track my speed.
yes you would lol the at least once you manage to get in lol
I want to keep my Formula manual. Does the stock 5 speed handle power from a V8 or is there a different trans that you have to throw in there?
v8 fieros suck
What would a six speed manual do?
Tbh, my 84 fiero red lines in 4th at about 105

Fiero has only two seats, no back seat. There is room behind the seats for a travel bag or a briefcase and some maps, etc. The seat is positioned very low to the floor as the car is only 3′ 10″ in height from the ground overall. So if you move the seat back and have nothing behind it, you should fit very easily.
Yes my friend is like almost 7 feet and sits comfortable in my 86′
im 6’5 would i fit in one of them.
what would the top speed be
hell they are cheap as fuck-friend got one for 125 and it was nice just needed work
v8′s are always better.
I’m starting to get into these cars, you don’t see much of them around, i saw one in a junkyard while looking for camaro parts and the interior was spotless, looked like brand new it was unbelievable
You can’t really say 4 and 6 cylinders are any more or less potent than 8 cylinders, when talking about power to square inch. It really depends more on who makes the engine and the quality of it as a whole.
I highly doubt that you have 2 lancers, HOWEVER their 2.1 rally engines are remarkable, yes. HOWVER evo engines are tt which changes the power output with nearly no regards to an engine’s displacement. Now let’s talk power strokes. a STOCK 6.0L v8 TURBO diesel can EASILY produce over 25psi. STOCK. Now, diesel engine are built to run at nearly 75% higher compression than that of gasoline. A simple chip replacement can have the engines running 40lbs of boost no problem.
I see you’ve changed your argument for the better, but it isn’t going to help you. 6.2 vettes are turds and 4.6 mustangs (producing like 315hp) are a joke. However there are a number of v8 engines on the market which give you more power to cubic inch.
in my opinion the best v8 on the market is that of BMW. but i like to hear the higher revs so that just my opinion
oh yeah btw u r right it is 6.2 i mustve hit the wrong key…
im simply saying that any engine out of any vette or mustang or hemi powered mopar on the market simply cant compete with moder performance 4′s. period they really cant
i have 3 cars. a 95 nissqan 240sx(stock not the car im speaking of(obviously)), a 2007 mitsubishi evolution mr. my baby. and a 2009 mitsubishi lancer ralliart my other baby… and im not saying that all v8′s arent potent if thats the way i came across im sry. what i meant is that 90 precent of stock v8′s on the market can not compete with the performance tuned turbo 4′s and alot of 6′s on the market today. im not speaking on high end drag engines or aftermarket tt v8′s …
