Even more impressive is the fact that this car does NOT have a power top, which results in a slight weight reduction, as well as the peace of mind that you’ll never need any power top-related service. For those of you that haven’t put one of these manual tops down before, we can attest to the fact that they are surprisingly lightweight, and also can be put down in about a third of the time that a power top requires. Paint on this car is very good to excellent, with a great shine. Convertible top is in excellent condition with no noticeable flaws; the factory polished wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash. Numbers matching 200hp 350ci L83 Crossfire engine, 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission, posi rear-end. This gorgeous 1982 Corvette Collector Edition is in particularly nice condition, and is also very original and correct, showing 85955 original miles and a clean Carfax. Assembled in December of 1981, this car wears what appears to be newer paint, with a very nice shine save for some minor fading on the rear bumper. Decals are in very good condition, with just a few hairline cracks and no crazing or other issues. ALL glass on this car, including the windshield and t-tops, shows a correct date code. Weatherstripping is newer and in very good condition, and the taillights are very nice as well with no cracks. Original exterior door handles are in good condition with strong return springs. The Collector Edition-specific aluminum wheels are invery good condition with very good condition center caps. These wheels wear Goodyear Eagle GTII raised white letter tires with 5/32nds tread remaining.
